Hi, I'm Andrew

I became a specialist in 2005, before which I undertook broad training in general obstetrics and gynaecology, with additional training in advanced minimally invasive surgery (sometimes called “Keyhole Surgery”) and infertility.

This enables me to look after all aspects of women’s health and gynaecology. Some of these include difficulty falling pregnant, pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, ovarian problems (including polycystic ovarian syndrome), IUCD and contraceptive implant insertion, abnormal Pap smears, and hormone replacement therapy. I also perform routine gynaecology check-ups and pap smears.

My advanced training has led to special interests in advanced minimally invasive surgery, especially for endometriosis, and assisting couples with fertility problems. A belief in offering health care to everyone means that I look after both private and public patients.

If you need an operation, I operate at either Kareena Private Hospital, or The Sutherland (Public) Hospital. I also supervise a public gynaecology clinic at The Sutherland Hospital, run by trainee specialists.

We are in this together...

In my practice, I like to have a relaxed consulting and communication style. You won’t see me wearing a tie, and I prefer to be called Andrew, not Dr Zuschmann. I want you to feel comfortable, and I encourage you to ask me any questions you may have about your condition.

My consulting rooms are a very short walk from both Kareena Private and Sutherland Hospitals, which is where my patients are admitted. For your convenience, we offer onsite underground parking.
